The York County Public Library Foundation supports the York County Public Library by increasing public awareness about the library and its importance to the community. The Foundation raises funds through gifts and bequests to enhance library facilities, programs and services. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law (Tax ID# 54-1873372).
The Tabb and York County Public Libraries reaches out to thousands of people inside and outside our communities providing quality and extensive programs, library collections and informational services for all ages! Last year, York County Public Library offered more than 1,000 adult and youth programs ranging from story-times, Live Well series, author visits, Paws to Read, STEM, crafting, writing, computer, and resume help! Also, last year the library surpassed its 2017 digital Overdrive checkout goal of 45,966.
The Foundation’s current capital campaign is to raise $150,000 to assist with the planned 2019 renovation and expansion of the Yorktown Library.
